October Birthday - Claudia Emmeline Hollingsworth Schoenewald

My Grandma's birth name was Claudia but she liked to be called by her middle name, Emmeline.  She was born in Bridgeport Nebraska on October 2, 1910.  Though there is some conflict with the date as some documents has the year listed as 1911.  That will get straighten out as I continue to research.

Emmeline was the 7th child out of 9.  She did lose two siblings at birth.  Her parents were William F. Hollingsworth and Eliza (Bentz).

She grow up in the farming communities in Nebraska, Kansas, Montana, Canada and Idaho.  Her father was a chicken farmer as well as growing wheat and other various products.

She met her husband John in Sandpoint, Idaho where they got married on her birthday in 1928.  (See the post in July on the Theme Love for more information on that event.
