A little behind but wanted to stay on track with each week's word prompt from my Challenges.
This week the word prompt for my 52 Ancestors in 52 weeks was "In the Census". Today I am highlighting Peter Kurtz who is my Great Great Grandpa on my father's side. We have heard two stories, one that he was born in Germany and one that he was born in Pennsylvania. So far the last Census we have found his name on is the 1850's one. Much more research needs to be done to pick up the trail and verify the stories.
It will be fun to see where this journey leads us regarding Peter Kurtz.
My 30 minutes in 30 days challenge has been all about reading genealogy blogs, books and sites to educate my self with the process. Also webinars on my computer software program - Legacy. I feel I need to arm myself with education before I start gathering a lot of documentation and then feel overwhelmed.
Thanks for joining me on this journey......
Bobbie
