Week 2 - Favorite Picture of my Mom - Patricia Schoenewald Kurtz

This is the end of week 2 for my 52 ancestors in 52 weeks challenge.  The prompt this week is "favorite picture".  That's a hard one!  I have a lot of favorites but thought I would share one of Mom as a little girl since I am working on her life story.  She was born in Sand Point, Idaho, moved to Ashland, Oregon around 5 years old and then to Vale, Oregon in the 8th Grade.  Graduated from Vale, Oregon, got married and lived in several places in Oregon, Nevada and Arizona.  Her parents moved back to Ashland, Oregon after she graduated.

30 minutes in 30 days - Challenge - I watched a few webinars regarding my Legacy Family Tree program as well as bought my supplies to get organized.  I read some information to get some organization ideas from different genealogists and decided on a mix of several options.  Once I start my process, I will fine tune it.  I want to have it in some kind of order to be able to pass it along to the next generation to carry the torch.  Found a couple of websites to read when I have more time. There is a lot to learn about Genealogy.  I plan to share little tips along the way.  I pulled together some more of Mom's loose paperwork and plan to incorporate into her timeline.
